Imperfections

A friend said; We're like paper airplanes
Meant to fly, definitely bound to fall


It was NEVER about the trophies
It was all about the JOURNEY. Always


I live my own life and you have no idea what it's like being me
As long as I'm human, I am imperfect and so are you
I asked for strength from Allah and God willing, strength He will give me
I don't have any regrets when we crossed paths in life
They say TRUE friends stay and thank you for showing me you're not
For all of the hurtful things you've said about me,
It will only make me to be a better and stronger person

I am neither beautiful nor pretty
I am not smart and I don't live to impress people but myself
I'm sorry I can't please everyone but I know myself better
I am just being me, with imperfections
One thing for sure, I forgive, and I move on with life
