The Visit

Dearest FaiLove* has been persuading me for weeks
And insisting that I went to a polyclinic for a thourough medical checkup
Extremely worried that my condition doesn't show any signs of improvement
It's been way more than a month
And so I did yesterday

Questioning me about whether I mix around with smokers or not and more
Who doesn't?
More questions and answers
check..check..check..

Doctor: "Ok. It's highly inflammation of your lungs dear. Now, I strongly advise that you stay away from your friends who smoke. If you breathe in any more cigg puffs, that will just cause more damages to your lungs than it already is.. If 1 week from now things don't get any better, than I'll have you come back for x-ray alright?"
Me: (blank face) "Ouh erm, okay. Sure.."

I asked her about the small traces of blood I found in my phlegms while coughing
Again, check.. Check.. Check..
And she mentioned something about bronchitis as well
I felt my stomach twist, waited as she scribbled down some notes
She prescribed me few drugs that will help open up my airwaves
Just so that my lungs can breathe again

Felt pretty bumped about it at first
Poured everything out to Bf about it
But he assured me that things are gonna be fine
Because of our faith in Allah above
Life is about trusting our feelings & taking chances
Losing & finding happiness
Appreciating the memories & learning from the past
